Women’s Wellness Circle
We are blessed to have a wonderful group of women, who gather regularly to create space for connection and support, all to help each other find a deeper sense of balance and wellness in life.
Here are some upcoming wellness opportunities at St. Luke’s:
Christ Walk: A 40-Day Spiritual Fitness Program
What’s better than feeding your soul while developing healthy practices for your body and mind?
We will select different biblical routes to complete (walking, running, biking etc) while reading a reflective passage on health & spirituality each day of the journey. Each chapter (only a few pages) is a daily meditation on different aspects of mind, body and spiritual health tied to biblical teachings and Christian traditions.
Participants are responsible for purchasing their own books. You can purchase them at www.amazon.com or a retailer of your choice.
We will begin our journey on Thursday, October 5th with a group walk (weather permitting) from 6:30-7:00pm and then gather in the church hall from 7:00-7:45pm to discuss the day 1 reading and select our routes. Please wear appropriate walking clothes and bring your book. Meet outside the red doors on Herman Street.
Other walking dates (all walks are 30 minutes in length; everyone is welcome):
- Saturday, October 14th @ 10:00 am
- Wednesday, October 18th @ 6:00 pm (Taize prayer begins @ 7:00 pm)
- Monday, October 23rd @ 7:00 pm

Living Well Through Advent 2017
The seasons of Advent and Christmas are filled with the presence of wonder, if only we remember to pause and open ourselves to receiving this gift. We will use Practicing Wonder with all Your Heart, Soul, Strength, and Mind as a resource to help remind each of us to take time to discover how the gifts of wonder might be born in us yet again this year.
We will gather for reflection and discussion on Thursday evenings from 6:30-7:45pm in the parish hall.
November 30th: December 7, 14 & 21
